The BusyB - Week of 5.20.24 š
Welcome to your weekly serving of inspiration, focusing on movement, nourishment, and intention. Let's dive in!
Becksā Brief š
It's that time of the week again where we pause, reflect, and prepare for the week ahead. I'm excited to have you here with me in our shared journey of wellness, empowerment, and balance!
Welcome to a new week, BusyBs! This weekās newsletter will be quite brief as I am still playing catch up from my whirlwind of 9 flights in 21 days š¤Æ. Despite the hectic schedule, thereās something I want to share with you all because itās been on my mind a lot lately.
The last couple of months have been incredibly busy, and it doesn't seem to be slowing down. During this period of my life, I constantly remind myself how blessed I am for all the opportunities life presents. All the travel, both business and personal, and an upcoming move to South Florida in June is at the top of my gratitude list each morning.
One thing that has stood out to me during this time is a message similar to what I shared in last weekās newsletter: prioritize whatās possible. Holding myself accountable for what I can realistically achieve has helped me stay calm and avoid feeling overwhelmed (most of the time š ). Of course, there are moments when the busyness gets to me and the stress starts to pile up. During these times, I remind myself of the difference between my stressed and calm states. I strive to always return to a calm state where I make good decisions and feel like a better person overall.
Prioritizing the possible allows me to focus on what I know I can accomplish each day. By doing this, I end my days feeling proud of what Iāve achieved. I am not going to ignore our innate human tendency to strive for perfection, however Iāve learned to appreciate lifeās fluctuations. Embracing flexibility is essential for maintaining progress and growth.
So, my call to action this week is simple: if you find yourself in an exceptionally busy period of your life, give yourself some grace and focus on prioritizing the possible. Donāt try to do it allāI promise youāll set yourself up for success by doing what you can manage.
